This has been a pretty good week – working on 3 new weddings, getting close to finishing up the office design project and just feeling generally productive.

It’s so nice to have a weekend without back-to-back plans and a schedule for every hour. I plan on getting some more work done this weekend, along with spending time with friends. I ‘m also putting together a little engagement celebration for my husband’s uncle and his fiancée this Sunday. Something simple and classy, with lots of champagne.

In my opinion I think every weekend should involve some cause for celebratory champagne. Be it to enjoy a good week, or to move past a bad one. I definitely just instituted a new weekend rule.

Wishing you all a lovely jubbly weekend (a British saying one of my brides who lives in England taught me and I am now obsessed with)!

{Classic & Elegant}

Though I find myself totally impressed by the DIY-inspired weddings I've been seeing all over the wedding blogs, I must say that I am a classic girl at heart. Going through my inspiration folder last night I noticed a trend of simple yet elegant weddings. You definitely want your wedding day to reflect you as a couple and infuse unique and personal touches throughout the day, but you always want to make sure that it stands the test of time.

Take a look at what is inspiring me as of late...

This has been one busy week, between our two year anniversary, a day trip to Palm Springs to meet with a potential client and 3 other new client meetings, I'm definitely ready for the weekend.

I am unbelievably grateful for all the wonderful referrals and the growth of my business in the past year. I'm having such a fantastic time working with all my couples; it doesn’t even feel like work to me! I can’t wait to see what the next couple of months have in store for me…

With Halloween this weekend,it's about time I start thinking about my costume! I am leaning towards being a peacock - I really just want to wear some fabulous feathers. I hope you all have a fun and spooky weekend.
