It has been a busy few weeks for Samantha Scott Events in the blog world! Check out some recent features on my favorite wedding sites...

{2013 Weddings} Part I

Here are two more fabulous weddings from 2013...

First up, Aimee & Marco's fabulously funky and retro wedding at Marvimon. Aimee & Marco wanted a true representation of their style and personalities at their wedding, which as a wedding planner, I can appreciate. Gotta love a bride that wears a 60's inspired lilac dress! Aimee & Marco hired me for my Design Only Package and I worked with Aimee & Marco on all the fun details leading up to the day. I was so happy that I got to be a part of their nuptials.

{Romance at the Ranch} Wedding

And here I am again apologizing for the lack of posting…but I can promise you, it is for good reason!  Between weddings, meetings and just daily life, the blog has been a bit neglected. I am making no promises to be more consistent (because clearly I cannot keep that promise!) but I am going to make a better effort to pop in with updates.

{A Little Update}

I don’t even know where to start. Since it has been so long since I have last posted, I will start with a bit of an update. It has been quite busy around here - from weddings, to meetings, to planning and designing. Wedding season has certainly begun - May was great and June is going to be amazing. I had a fantastic wedding last weekend and cannot wait for another fabulous wedding this weekend.

{Oh, Hello There}

So you might have noticed that I have been a bit absent these past couple weeks, okay maybe 6. It's not that I have abandoned you, rather some technical difficulties that have made it impossible to post. Thankfully I have some tech-savvy people helping me and it is finally all straightened out. So I am back here – with a bit of a reinvigorated spirit. Why is it when I can’t post, I seem to have so many ideas? Well I am going to try and keep that energy going (one of my goals for 2012).

{Classic & Elegant}

Though I find myself totally impressed by the DIY-inspired weddings I've been seeing all over the wedding blogs, I must say that I am a classic girl at heart. Going through my inspiration folder last night I noticed a trend of simple yet elegant weddings. You definitely want your wedding day to reflect you as a couple and infuse unique and personal touches throughout the day, but you always want to make sure that it stands the test of time.

I think this is brilliant and just had to share. Personalized napkins are all the rage as of late and though I do love them, sometimes the sentiment can be bordeline cheesy. This one clearly is not.
